How To Make Play Dough
This is a quick and easy recipe for play dough that requires no cooking.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of salt
- 1 cup of plain or self raising flour
- 1 Tablespoon of cooking oil
- 1 cup of boiling water
- Food colouring
Instructions:
- In a large bowl mix together flour and salt.
- Put 6-7 drops of food colouring into the water.
- Mix the oil and water into the dry ingrediants, stir vigourously for a few minutes.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes untill it feels smooth and silky.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for about half an hour.
- It's ready to play with!
This dough will last for about a week if you place it in a sealed container or plastic bag and even longer if you put it in the fridge.
